PlanGT Posted March 17 Posted March 17 Hi all, I've previously added Molyslip when doing a gearbox oil service, as was recommended on many older threads. It seems the product got discontinued in 2024 and is no longer for sale apart from a few sellers on eBay that still have old stock. What's the go-to alternative these days? Any particular recommendations for Zed boxes? Thanks 1 Quote

alexgv1 Posted 14 hours ago Posted 14 hours ago Hey chaps, this comes highly recommended and has done the job for me. I got mine from eBay. https://www.liqui-moly.com/en/gb/gear-oil-additive-p000009.html?srsltid=AfmBOopUeCHDvYPmCn8lYrR8RNam6W1E6KNX9fGFXbLQVmvQVzjtkykf#2510 Quote
Keith D Posted 1 hour ago Posted 1 hour ago Don't use it, synchromesh needs friction to function. You only need to use OE spec gearbox fluid. Quote
