Keith D Posted June 15 Posted June 15 (edited) I've been trying to identify a noise from the front hubs for a couple of weeks... it's sort of binding brakes/front wheel bearing noise even though with the car on the lift the hub rotates freely, and the wheel bearing feels okay. I decided sod it I'll fit new hubs and a seal kit for the calipers, and when stripping the front hub down on the drivers side I found some monkey had previously broken the ABS sensor tab off, and had glued the ABS sensor into the hub! I'm wondering if this is the root cause, although can't figure how. Edited June 15 by Keith D Quote
Loadmaster Posted June 15 Posted June 15 I guess that despite being a bodged repair, if it was bodged back into it's correct position it probably isn't responsible for the noise. Quote
