350z rota gtr-d alloys not clearing brembos

Lads, I need some help. Just went to put on my new rotas and the fronts seem to be catching the calipers. There 9.5 et25. I thought that the size of the wheel was a safe bet but unfortunately it’s catching. There’s not enough room to attach spacers as if I do there isn’t enough room for the nuts to attach to the threads. Any ideas on what size would be best.

These are the type of spacers that you require.

 

Best to stick with Eibach.

 

Plenty in the Eibach shop.

I’ve looked at them but being 9.5 and not being able to get less than 15mm spacers would this not be too wide for the fronts.

Okay, much will depend on how much interference you have.

 

Perhaps a shim type spacer may work, retaining the OEM studs.

 

You will have to calculate how much interference you have and work out what size of spacer you want/require.

 

Failing that, you may have to replace the oem studs for something a bit longer.

 

Keep in mind that the width of the wheel and the offset are only part of the calculation.

 

Width of tyre and suspension drop all cause interference issues.

 

Regarding being too wide for the fronts? All depends on what stance you are after and how much clearance there is between wing and tyre.

 

Perhaps it would be a good plan to get a set of Rotas that are compatible with your car and clear the calipers to save all the flaffing about.

These were supposed to be guaranteed fitment from RIMSTYLE there sending me out some 5mm shims touch wood they fix the problem.

I've used it for years, it might well help you find a set of wheels that would fit perfectly 👌
