Brighton Speed trials

Just heard that the speed trials are cancelled due to the cost of safety measures. I suppose it had to happen but what a shame a lot of history their.

Yes. Bloody shame as I have competed many times in this event since the 90s and was going to enter the Z this year.

Being a Member of the Brighton and Hove motor Club I received an email over the weekend.

Flower pots and cycle lanes are far more interesting than smelly race cars!
