FearZ33 Posted November 27, 2023 Share Posted November 27, 2023 Hi all, recently picked myself up an 09 HR and fulfilled a childhood dream (planning to put up some pics soon as I've got it all sorted and polished up ). Unfortunately I experienced random misfiring shortly after getting it (no engine codes) and after pulling the coils I found a bit of oil in the front two spark plug tubes on the driver's side. From what I've read it would seem the spark plug seals are going bad, so it looks like the valve covers will need replacing. I have a few questions - Does anyone know the best place to pick up these covers? How harmful is it to the engine to drive in this state? And is there any other work or preventative maintenance that you'd recommend being completed at the same time as replacing the covers?
