Not got a Z yet but currently looking to buy a 370 with a few tasteful mods.

Not in a rush so will see what comes up.

Budget would be up to about £12,000 so would think that I would most likely be looking at a 2010/11 car.

I have already got a Nissan with a 3.5 V6 engine but it is a complete opposite to the Z being a Nissan Elgrand MPV which I am currently in the process of converting to a camper and even though I said I would't when I bought it have got caught up with the modification and upgrade bug, big wheels, uprated exhaust and handling etc.

I have had it just over a year and self imported it from Japan.

Hi and welcome along buddy. I was considering an elgrand to convert as well but settled for a transit when I did mine

I was thinking of either a VW or transit at first but got seduced by the 3.5 V6 engine and general level of kit and the general bang for buck on the Elgrand.

Downside is the fuel consumption at low 20's per gallon but as we only plan on doing a couple of thousand miles per year did not think this was worth worrying about.

Welcome to the OC

If you keep an eye on the for sale section you might get lucky and bag a car to your liking from a forum member.

Often you'll get a feel for the history of the owner has alot of posts over the years too  a

I have had a look through the for sale section and there were a few that would have suited what I am looking for. Unfortunately all now sold but will keep a lookout for any that are coming up for sale.

I bought a 3.2 V6 Alfa Brera from a member on the Alfa Owners Club a few years back and it was one of the best cars I have ever had and I also sold it through the club.

Welcome  I'm not a million miles away (depending on where in Somerset you are) - I'm across the border in Trowbridge, Wiltshire

Thanks for the welcome. I'm just outside of Bridgwater so a little way from you although know Trowbridge quite well as originally from Bristol.
