CalvinPomfret Posted March 11, 2020 Posted March 11, 2020 Hoping someone can shed some light on this as I'm baffled... & so are Nissan I had a clutch replacement on the z34 Nismo back in November at Nissan Aldershot & everything seemed to be running smoothly - up until I heard a noise coming from the clutch when I depress it in first or second changing gear. The noise sounds almost as if the cable is going loose, then suddenly tightening (like a clunk/wobbling). I have taken it back to Nissan for investigation & no solution has been found for it yet. I have assured Nissan the noise shouldn't be coming from there as I know what disengagement / re-engagement of a clutch sounds like! But typically, the sales guy actually had the audacity to turn round & say "The 370's are noisey"... Thoughts on the problem? Quote
ZMANALEX Posted March 11, 2020 Posted March 11, 2020 There is no cable on the clutch mechanism. It is a hydraulic set up so I would possibly be looking at the CSC operation. Gearbox out again I am afraid. Warranty of course: Did it get a complete clutch kit (3 piece) and a flywheel? Quote
