Tiptronic matic s fluid

Does anyone know if dexron v1 is similar? Looking to do a gearbox fluid and filter change and can only find matic s fluid in litre sizes.car has done 72k with no record of a change.all is well with transmission at the moment just preventative maintenance.

Nissan's' auto fluid is a fluid for life.

 

However, if you still want to change the fluid then best to stick with Matic S ATF

Thanks, I've always been suspicious of "fluids for life" though, I'd prefer a long life as opposed to a trans change!

I recently did a full flush and replacement on mine. 

 

I used CASTROL TRANSMAX Z.

Its similar to Nissan where Matic Fluid D which is used by our cars.

 

Been running it for almost 6 months now with zero issues.
