Andy did you remove handles to paint?

Thanks Mike Kg

When bob and I did them we just masked the whole area off and did them but when my car was wrapped they took them off and did them again.

Im looking at painting mine. One quesion, how does painting them hold up? As obviously they have hands and fingers rubbing on them regularly, so wouldnt want the paint to fade/come off shortly after they have been done.

i would just be looking at sanding them, priming them and then a satin anthracite to finish. As i dont want a gloss finish.

any advice or experience to share would be good

Just make sure you give them a good coating of lacquer also. Make sure they are completely dry as well before driving as mine weren't the 1st time round. That's why they were done again...

You'll want to use a lacquer as well, but go for a matt / satin one.
