Double Din Facia

Probably fed up with Double Din questions but i need some help.

 

Just fitted a double din unit today using the following adapter however it has a big gap at the bottom, anyone know a brand that has a larger bit at the bottom to stop me getting this gap like the pic below:

i have a kenwood double din that i havnt fitted yet, hadnt really thought about it not fitting properly.

 

so does your's not sit correctly in the dash ?

There is a big gap at the bottom, if you hava a double din do not get the facia linked above.

 

My digital camera is not working so i put a red line on the pic attached to show you where the big gap is.

im interested aswell, as im hunting for a fascia surround, have been advised any will do, but i dont want a gap like that.

I've just fitted a Metra 99-7602 fascia and it fits great and doesn't leave a gap. I bought mine from the following link, looks exactly like the one in the photo, cost $27 shipping to UK and only took a couple of days to arrive. http://cgi.ebay.com/METRA-99-7602-2006- ... m153.l1262

facia costs about 2 quid get it from any audio shop, you cut to fit, glue inside then makes your double din look flush like mine

Got exactly same problem as u mate.. some double din players will never fit perfectly in the Z. No matter how much i played with it, just wudnt fit and got about 3 mm gap at bottom of the player.
