MLH6987 Posted August 5, 2017 Posted August 5, 2017 Hi everyone, i have a 350z which has had a clutch fitted just before i got it. Everything was fine for about 4 months but now the pedal is sticking. The car is currently in the garage now who have fitted genuine nissan master and slave and flushed the fluid but this has not solved the problem! has anyone had any experience of this or have any other suggestions? the garage are struggling to find the problem and are now saying it may be the pedal itself?! the pedal depresses fine but then sticks on way back up cheers matt Quote
ZMANALEX Posted August 5, 2017 Posted August 5, 2017 The problem will be that the garage is not using the correct bleeding procedure. You will definitely have an air lock and proper bleeding is essential to get all the air out the hydraulic system. It can be time consuming especially if the master and slave have been replaced. scobie140 Posted August 5, 2017 Posted August 5, 2017 I'd go for the bleeding like alex said. I had a nightmare bleeding it a few years back when I changed the clutch line to a braided one & I never let the level in the master cylinder drop so must have just been a small air pocket in the slave cylinder.
