Bonsai Posted March 12, 2008 Share Posted March 12, 2008 Hi everyone, this is my first post so go on easy on me ! Im currently looking for my long awaited Z. The spec i want is as follows: Azure Blue, Nismo bodykit/Exhaust, Rays Alloys. Dont mind if its a JDM or UK as long as the price is right, £15,000 is my max budget. Ive only been looking for 4 weeks and get the feeling its gonna be a while to find the spec i want, and also realise i have to get in there quick if a decent one comes along. Ive spent hours looking on the net at diff dealers. Also ebay, Autotrader, Pistonheads etc. Is there much else i should be doing? If i end up buying the bodykit myself, how much is it supplied sprayed and fitted? Does anyone know of a decent place in my area(I live in the South West)? Thanks for your time....... Daaave Posted March 12, 2008 Share Posted March 12, 2008 A car with the bodykit will be cheaper overall than fitting it yourself. I looked into exactly the same thing and ended up buying a car with the Nismo kit, exhaust and wheels already on it. You might need to reconsider your budget a bit though... Im having fun looking tho, just hope i eventually find the one i want!..... Lots of people slate the Bose system, is it the Head unit thats so bad or the speakers too! im really into my music so its important to me......... As sl114 said, if you get an Azure with most of the bits, then add what you want from someone like Phil you will have a much shorter wait. As for the BOSE, it is not awful if you set it up with a few tweaks. BUT, it is unreliable and can easily be bettered. One thing to note, the system runs the hands free kit if the car is fitted with it, so you would lose that. If you after just the Kit one other to think of is EPRacing (Jeff). My plan is to pretty much accept any spec I can get as long as I don't hate the colour.
