Fm radio no signal after months with new head unit

Hello folks,

 

I installed a new head unit a while back and all seemed fine, until recently the fm radio dropped out....no signal at all. I am getting bored of the same cd's!! I have looked for a faulty fuse but can't see one??? Any ideas chaps???

I know its a PITA to check, but could the antenna lead have fallen out the back? That'd be the first thing I'd check.

It won't be a fuse, you'd have nothing at all if it was, I suspect what Jay has suggested maybe correct.  Failing that it'll be unit failure in which cas the sooner you find out the better.

Thanks chaps, that was the first thing i checked, but it was firmly in at the back. as the unit ( a cheap unit from china   ) is fairly new I hope it isnt that!
