Who do you use to upload pictures onto threads these days?

I know thats what you do for mobile. Thats how i post normally but i tried that first on laptop and it said same error, cant use image extension so i deleted them all read the guide that said use direct link. Still no joy. I can see the pics on screen either way, just wont let me post it...

Somehow you've managed to get the word ~original after the jpg on that image, no wonder they're not working! Remove that and everything is fine, like this:
