Hands free disconnection

Hi,

 

I've got a 2016 370 and the hands free setup is driving me mad! It used to disconnect randomly then reconnect every 15 mins when im listening to music, but now its doing it whenever i pickup the phone.

 

So if someone calls, it rings as usual and I can use the dashboard button to pick it up, but it then immediately disconnects from the hands free but doesnt cancel the call, so they can hear me saying hello. Worst thing is they then get a blast of whatever you were listening to on the radio! It seems to be getting worse, if I make an outgoing call it seems fine but by answering the phone it just triggers a diconnect/reconnect.

 

Any advice appreciated, I have an iPhone 6s with the latest IOS. Is there an easy way to update firmware for the ICE?

Take it back to the dealer (warranty), guessing you have checked all your phone settings are correct for hands-free.

Thanks, I think I will do that. Yes all seems fine when im driving the van so im sure its not the phone.

Mine has just started doing this, 2010 model though. Let me know what the dealer says, would be interested to see if it's a simply fix.
