VQ35HR oil pressure.

So, I've just had the gallery gasket fixed on my HR. And I've got a nice healthy oil pressure once again. But I'm wondering, is it too healthy?

On tickover the gauge reads 30psi which I believe to be normal, but at the slightest Rev, anywhere from 2-3k it can go up to 90psi, anything more than that and it'll reach over 100. (Under load that is, not in neutral)

Is this normal? Is the relief valve supposed to open before you see pressures like that?

Are the pressures quoted cold or hot? cold would be perfectly normal, for hot it would be a little high, although not totally abnormal, what oil grade are you using?

Mine is exactly the same after having the gallery gaskets changed, fully hot idle after a long run out around 30psi and revs to pressures similar to yours. Nothing to worry about I would imagine. My Mazda used to reach similar pressures under load so I presume it's normal.
