Gearknob collars.

After a bit of Googling, I see the thread pitch is M10x1.25. The internet seems full of gearknobs in this size, but I'm guessing they don't all come with the collar to go under the knob to ensure the gaitor sits tightly at the base of the knob.

 

I'm not looking to spend a lot on a new gearknob to be honest, just a satin chrome one would do the job, maybe a round one, or something like this.

 

Any thoughts?

Nah. What you want is the Nismo titanium shift knob.

 

However the best is not cheap.

 

But this is what I run and the balance is perfect so substance over style for me.

I'm really not looking to spend that kind of money one one . If someone can have a look at the latter link & confirm whether it would fit. Last thing I want is for it to look odd or untidy where the base of it meets the gaitor.

I would suggest having a look at Mopedmarks offerings. Does a very nice polished or brushed gear knob. That is a perfect fit.
