Mike k-g Posted August 6, 2016 Share Posted August 6, 2016 Got this noise from the cluster sounds like interference everone who's been in the car says its coming from the cluster..sometimes it goes away then comes back... its started to get me mad..dont really want to sell my car but this noise is bugging the hell outa me might sell the damn thing..not sure which way to turn in solving the noise.tried most things apart from changing the cluster..dont wanna give it to a garage or dealership..Guys shud i try another cluster from another car? anyhelp appreciated i;m getting frustrated with it. Zeezeebaba Posted August 6, 2016 Share Posted August 6, 2016 I have three distinct rattles that come and go. 1)Centre consul, caused by the gear stick vibration at certain revs. 2)Centre air vent under the windscreen. 3)Speedo cluster, solved this with some discreetly placed black packing foam wedged in behind the dial pod. Mike k-g Posted August 11, 2016 Author Share Posted August 11, 2016 Been doing some homework on my noise from cluster..found a article that suggest it maybe heater core needs back flushing..question is what is the heater core and how do i flush it?
