Chipex on Monterey Blue (RAE)

Thought I'd post up as the other topic is about 2 years old now,

 

Before and after of the roof chip I did myself using the Chipex kit. Was a bit apprehensive about 100% colour match guarantee but I was more than impressed! Easy to use, gets a thumbs up from me.

 

 

And then some pics of the Chipex on my beemer (as I've had to join the 'need more than 2 seats' club )

Good pics but can't see any difference in the finish to what you can get using the standard touch up paint packs you can buy for £5 or £6 from the dealers or paint mixing companies

Well the colour match seems to be prety good, but if I'm going to be picky you could improve on the application technique. I'm only saying this as otherwise, given time, you'll be addressing a lot more than just a 'chip'. There's plenty of 'how to' guides out there.
