KUGT4 Posted June 19, 2016 Share Posted June 19, 2016 had the fronts done free gratis due to garage 'incident' and they did a good job - just the face of the wheel was done - took a couple of hours and drove off thought i'd get the rears done - quoted £80 per wheel this reasonable for a mobile service? Exec Posted June 20, 2016 Share Posted June 20, 2016 I work in a dealership so regularly sublet bodyshops/ mobile vans to refurb tatty wheels. For those gt4 wheels which are standard painted I'd expect £50-55 per wheel from a bodyshop to do the faces only. My mobile guy charges £40 to do standard faces. However if your going for a whole different colour change doing the faces just isn't going to cut it. You will see the difference looking through the spokes. More prep is required and I would say £80 to do this per wheel sounds a bit on the high side but reasonable.
