i haven't joined a BMW owners club... sure their forums are a wealth of information, but its just that normally - theres no banter like with you lot.

Some people use forums some don't, I find it handy as you can always find out information when needed

I think its well worth joining a forum like this when you buy your zed, i learned sooooo much from the helpful guys and gals on here when i first bought my zed.

I think modifications plays a big part in it. The only time i've registered on a forum has been when i'm modding a car. If i'm going to leave it bone stock, im not interested in the community.

With the 350 numbers creeping down, I was hoping that might rise the price a little or insurance to stop them becoming the new boy racer car! It's the whole reason I bought a Z as the hot hatch scene never appealed to me and it felt a little different and special, also seem to be driven by more enthusiasts that care for the car, not just to rag it round.. Although my Mrs has a type r and it's fun, the amount of corsa vxr boy racers trying it on is ridiculous, and most of them drive like idiots
