Smifee
Hi all new to the forum. Just purchased my first 350z. Got all excited and brought a full exhaust including manifolds. Car was in for some bodywork so i fitted the exhaust whilst it was off the road. Now exhaust is manifolds de-cats and full y piece and rear system. Just got the back on road but it's running bad. No fault codes coming up.. My question is.. Have i done too much and do i need to get it mapped.. Or have i fudged something up and need to go threw it all again.. I cant find nothing for the life of me wrong.. and it was running mint before.. It ticks over a little lumpy and pops every now and then.. I'm thinking maybe the straight threw full exhaust is blowing past the lambda sensors and not letting it set the fueling right causing it to run really rich.. When you boot it it just pops and farts.. Mny thanks for any help Mike
ZMANALEX
Did you actually replace the manifolds or just cat back ? What brand of exhaust parts did you fit ? How do you know that it is running to rich ? What year and model is your 350 ?
Smifee
Hi mate it's a 03. Early import I think but still waiting non the logbook... Yes did manifolds and straight threw cat pipes. Had a stainless y piece already then put a jap speed rear system on.. headers and de cats unknown as eBay purchases..

Smifee
No not had plugs out.. ?? Ecu reset?? do you mean fault code erase?
ZMANALEX
An ECU reset is different from clearing the codes.
