BC coilover rear extenders

Do the guys who run bc's know if you have to fit the dampener extenders before you fit the shock or can you retrofit with the shock in place?

you can fit them later, you just need to remove the boot plastics

Pop the plastic trim off, you can then feed the extenders up through the rear strut, then you can line up where you want to cut the hole in the plastic. Edited April 27, 2016 by Grundy@TeamTarmac

Am i being an absolute bell end, all plastics are off and it is solid apart from a hole in the front, no where near the strut top

I can't remember if we drilled through the strut or not. Don't think we did. Mouthwash might be able to shed some light.

I had to fit the extenders before I put the strut through the bottom side.

After removing the plastics, i think that is the only way.
