Removing front caliper - preventing brake fluid loss

Hi all,

Looking for some advice here - I need to remove the front passenger side brembo caliper from the car. I was hoping to unscrew the bolt at the end of the brake line that goes directly into the caliper itself.

Is there any way to minimise fluid loss so the reservoir doesn't empty? I don't have anything the plug the end of the brake line with nor do I really want to clamp the rubber brake line hose further up. I also want to reduce air getting in to the open end of the brake line.

Any tips from someone who has done this before?

Thanks.

Agreed, will have to bleed the line after reattaching the caliper. It's likely the car will be sitting up for a few days you see, so I don't want the brake system emptying.

Are brake line clamps safe to use? Reading online it seems that some people are against it for fear of weaking/damaging the rubber hose. In my case it could be a few days of being clamped.
