Which oil?

My JDM needs its P2 service just click on to 21500 miles.

 

cant get it booked in this week so i was thinking i'd buy and supply my own oil. of which is my question which one should i get?

My local dealership uses Texaco Havoline 5w 40 if I remember correctly. Seems fine, never had any problems. I think it's semi synth, or maybe fully - can't quite remember

 

Before that they were using Shell Helix stuff - fully synth

I always use Motul 300v which in the past I have got from Guy at www.opieoils.co.uk my zed loves it. I know other Zed owners who like Miller oils or Silkolene

just been on the opieoils site and it looks like hte following;

 

5 litres of Fuchs Titan Supersyn 5w-40 and

1 Purolator Oil Filter Ref L14612

Basically, either the Silkolene, Motul or Amsoil is what most of use!

I use Castrol Magnatec 5W 30 in a semi synthetic

Millers is also very good and guess what we keep it in stock along with a wide range of filters etc, we can even do your service if you wish.
