Hi does anyone know why the clutch slave cylinders fail on 350zs ? I've heard

The hose can get very hot and this damages the piston seals because the fluid

Gets heated .

I'm assuming you meant to post this in the 350Z area so I've moved it here. ;)

 

Hopefully someone more knowledgeable on the subject will be along shortly.

Your assumption is correct.

 

The rubber hose and oem fluid can not handle the heat from the exhaust/cat on the DE.

 

Braided line, high temperature fluid and a new oem slave usually fixes the issue.
