Manual Gearbox which others fit

So my gear box has given up on me due to updated clutch and are there any other boxes that can handle a bit moe power that require minimal mods to fit ?

Thinking the likes of a gtr gtt skyline or a supra?

How much power are you running? AFAIK Alex is on 600+ and still on the standard gearbox.

Not a great deal 300bhp it's not that I need to change it to a new box mine has gone so for price difference and in the long run I want twin turbo it's seems cost effective to do it now

Do you know what the standard box can handle?

Yeah, about 600bhp

 

Just get a standard 'box, your rods will go long before the gearbox does.

Oh god yeah, you'll want engine work at that point well before the gearbox gives up.

My advice will be........,,,,,get the box rebuilt rather than buy an unknown quantity. I did mine and so pleased. It cost just under the typical used box prices but even if it cost a little more you know what you got.
