HR indicators.

This is one for HR owners. If your changing lane on a motorway do your indicators flash a few times and then self cancel if you nudge the indicator stalk? They don't on my DE and it annoys me as they do on my vw caddy and also on my Mrs qashqai (same stalk as zed).

Nope, only flash while holding or fully on. It annoys me a bit too as I got used to them on my last car and the wife's.

Ok cheers for the info, you've just saved me some money thought about fitting a qashqai one with the self cancel but the stalk is black instead of silver.

Yeah they only flash once. Although I'm sure I read they are supposed to flash three times. I'll see if I can dig out my manual.

Mine don't either. Even my van does! So guessing it's not meant to.

Cheers for the info lads, if the later HR stalk did self cancel after a few flashes I would of changed mine for one. I've put up with it for 6 years so it's not the end of the world.

Found it! Page 2-22 in the owners manual.

Apparently there is a turn signal and a lane signal. It says "to indicate a lane change, move the lever up or down to the point where lights begin flashing"

Guess that can be read two ways, either it flashes a predetermined number then stops or it only works whilst your holding it half down. Either way, I've never got it to work!
