Banger rallies

Anyone done one? A few of us are thinking about Monte Carlo or bust this year, but due to budgets, a UK rally is preferable. Must be banger though, cars of around £300 or less. Does anyone know of anything in the UK?

Do your own one I reckon, that way you know exactly what you're getting and that everything will be awesome.

I've always wanted to do a scrapper rally- but timings never been quite right. It's amazing how much car you can get for very little money- i would suggest a late 90's/early 2000's Ford Puma 1.7. Brilliant chassis and dirt cheap.
