Got about 20 samples of slightly brown off white type colours from a paint mixing shop, then took my chosen sample back and got 3 tins of the stuff. Next day I go to work and the decorator cracks on. On the way home from work I meet him at the pub to buy him a beer and he tells me "that paints a bit pink isn't it?"... everyone thought he was taking winding me up until I got home... to a bright pink flat!! WTF?!? Took me ages to get the paint company to accept responsibility, eventually they paid for enough white paint to redo the flat to hide the pink, enough coloured paint to redo the job and twice the decorators salary to redo the painting. 2 Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
