Space Saver Wheel Advice

Bought a Ford S- max for the wife. The wheels are 5 stud 18" and was wondering if I need a Ford wheel or if any 5 stud 18" will work and do I need to take iaspect ratio and tyre width into account.

All depends on the PCD of the holes. Not sure what this is for Fords, I'm sure someone will weigh in with the correct size and yes aspect ratio is important not so much the width though.

I had thought the PCD would be 360/5 = 72 deg but having read your post I looked it up in Wikipedia and they quote 4 different PCD's but there in millimetres. I Assume this relates to the arc length between bolt centres. I'll get my string out and try it.

PCD is 5x108, and M14 x 1.5 if you want the bolt/stud size too.

that should help you out, important measurements are wheel diameter and width, PCD, CB (centre bore) and offset (ET)

seems our googling took us to exactly the same page, lol.

 

but don't forget centre bore! which is the reason why we had one bmw 3 series wheel that didn't fit our bmw 3 series car properly!
