P15UL T Posted December 16, 2007 Posted December 16, 2007 i have some hair line scratches on my polished rims due to the carelessness of the garage swapping my wheels over ( they stacked them in a pile without anything seperating them i was wondering if it was safe to use the metal polishing paste on them that i use on my exhaust etc any ideas or experiance ? cheers Paul Quote

lomoto Posted December 17, 2007 Posted December 17, 2007 your OK to use metal polish if it is a true polished rim , with no protective coating on (i.e. lacquer etc. ) otherwise leave it to the professionals Quote

Dont do it dude, you have Roja wheels, anodised finished, not good, costing me 200 quid to get mine refurbished all because I used soding polish on them, getting them black chrome finish then laquered as cant re anodise them Quote
