stealthboy Posted September 13, 2015 Posted September 13, 2015 Hi . Just been offered a 350Z (uk car)and looking for some advice on price . Spec is 2004 GT in blue . 50,000 miles , interior back leather general condition ok . paintwork v.faded on roof and heavy deep scuffs to 2 corners on metal and bumpers. drives well with strong engine . Gearbox quite notchy ( all like that?) , sat nav not working but everything else seem ok . Generally ok but seems looser than my bmw 5 series with 190,000 miles on it. Owner (friend of mine) looking for 5 to 6K for it . Any opinions on car/price? Thanks in advance Quote
S7nny Posted September 13, 2015 Posted September 13, 2015 It depends how much work you want to put into it. If you're in no rush, I'd say to have a look around. There are plenty of good buys out there that may be better (and cheaper) in the long run. My 2 cents... Quote
KUGT4 Posted September 13, 2015 Posted September 13, 2015 re: gearboxes - yep they 'notchy' - swapping the OEM gearstick for a stumpy 'hardbar' transformed the shifting on mine Quote
Tom-89 Posted September 13, 2015 Posted September 13, 2015 as above sounds a bit pricey to me considering the condition. cars like these need looking after properly, if you let it get in that state i'd suggest it probably hasn't had the best care with servicing, use etc etc Quote
Joeycuz Posted September 13, 2015 Posted September 13, 2015 Personally I'd give it a miss, sounds like it hasn't been cared for as well as it should. I would of thought that with the summer just passing, you shouldn't have any problems finding a decent zed. Just my opinion though 👠Quote
