PAWL3Y Posted September 6, 2015 Share Posted September 6, 2015 (edited) For sale is a Kenwood DDX4028BT Head Unit that was removed from my car for an upgraded unit. It is in excellent condition and fully working with all harness' and cables included. I will also include the incartec steering control adaptor cable (for the controls on the steering wheel), however this was not working when it was in the car. It could have been as simple as a loose connection but I believe it is faulty, regardless everything else works as normal and this is simple to replace should you want the steering controls. The head unit does have a 'Nav' option on the home screen and there is a port for a GPS cable on the rear. I don't believe maps are installed and I have found no information on whether it is possible, therefore I have priced it accordingly (if it is easy to install navigation then this is a bargain!). Is this a direct replacement for my CD/Tape player (all harnesses needed etc) to directly swap out? In case you are looking for similar, yes this was pretty much a direct replacement and I was able to stream bluetooth without problem in my GT, all you need is 2 InCarTec adapters (if you want to keep the steering controls working), one is the main harness and another is an adapter specific to the make of your head unit. I am not sure if it's different for non BOSE but there is plenty of info on the forum that will help!
