iv got a hks mushroom induction kit on the zed at the moment and iv been offered a pop charger for cheep is it better than the hks or would i be better keeping what i have?

I like them and they are said to be better than the pop charger, however i am sure there are theories for and against.

I will try & find the webpage now but definetley remember a US based magazine/website running tests on differing induction kits fitted to a Jap car. They found the HKS mushroom type to be one of the worst for filtration, allowing too much crap from air into engine. IMO JWT pop would be better in terms of filtration anyway.

Ive had a yellow hks mushroom racing induction on my last z and on this I have the JWT popcharger, tbh no difference just prefer the noise on the JWT popcharger

thats made me think now then.. iv been offered a 2nd hand one with heat shield ect and also some blitz air flow plates that direct the air that comes in near the bonnet for 90 pounds.

 

what u think??
