How can he say a sealant dulls the wax.I find Z8 gives it that bit more and leaves the paint feeling silky smooth.

Possibly a cream sealant may do but i dont think a spray does.

I have had first hand experience with them,beware.

I am in the process of renewing mine at the moment,i was put through to some sort of insurance agency and Adrian Flux was one that came up that could insure me,refused to be put through to them.

I rang them the other day,told me to get some qoutes together and they would beat my lowest.

Got a qoute of £680 from Aplan,phoned Chris Knott again and low and behold they knocked £50 off the premium and £50 off excess.Seeing as i only have 2 years no claims due to being on the other halfs insurance i dont think is too bad,oh and all mods declared.

Yeah I think about 12 of us went last year.

Should be able to make it again this year.

Bugger another meet I can't get to,fly back of holiday that day.

So its head went through its own a##e.

I have the Varis lip on mine,car is lowered and i go over to speed bumps everyday where i live with no probs.

Thats a pre soak James,you would spray it on before you foam usually use a similar thing in the winter months to get the salt of the lower part of the car.

If your after a sealant to spray on after wax i can highly recommend the Zaino Z8,its easy to apply and leaves the paint felling really smoth,smells good aswell.

The wheel guard is good stuff aswell.

Just had a look on BBC website both the Z4 AND 370Z tonight.

Don't forget though it gets that treatment almost every week.

The kit I got from Polishedbliss is for soft paint.This comes with light cut pads,light polishing pads and Menzerna finishing polish plus a few other bits.

I have just got a G220 Ho,not used it on the paint yet though.Have used it to good effect on my polished engine bits though.

i'm going to enter but it will have to be towards the end of the month as i'm away for a bit. this looks like good fun, kind of give me the proper motivation to go all out.

I think that would have to be using the last touch as a drying aid.

Right here goes my entry.As if the neighbours didn't already think i was crackers,this a put the icing on the cake taking photos between each part of the wash.

Some before shots.

Car was foamed using a mix of ph neutral snow foam and CG citrus wash.

While this was left to work i tackled the wheels with billberry and a couple of brushes.

Car was then rinsed leaving this.

Car was then washed using the 2 bucket method and Blackfire shampoo.

Then rinsed with a open hose.

It was then dried using 2 waffle weave drying towels and Megs last touch.

This is how it looked after the drying.

Tyres were dressed using Blackfire long lasting tyre gel.

The wax i chose today was Swissvax best of show.

Here it is being applied.

While that cured i tackled the exhaust with Duraglit.

Before.

After.

I then removed the wax.

Finally gave it a wipe down with Zaino Z8 sealant which left the paint feeling like silk.

Time taken around 3 hrs.Now time to have a well deserved pint of cider

Top Tip - I think that would have to be using the last touch as a drying aid.

Should be able to enter something later if the weather holds.Car is pretty filthy at present so should get some decent before and after shots.

It's the only one I have with all my mods on,you made my sig aswell Rob.

Got mine as a full kit,don't know how much the handles are on their own.

The garage that carried the work out got it for me.It's Samco and I am almost certain they got it from DemonTweeks.

It's a bit extreme but I got the RSW carbon overlays,look loads better now though.

Any fine clay should do,I used Sonus green last time with megs last touch as lube.

You can't be far away then if your streaming pics,it should pic your pc up without going through extender.Enable media sharing on media player and it should pic your 360 up.
