  1. Exactlly Chris 90% of getting a good wet look finish is in the prep.A good machine polish to get rid of swirls, topped of with a good wax will really show.I have to agree with the P21s of R222 as it's called now,it's a really soft wax and would only use say for before a show to give a really wet look,it just does not last.

You will get a wetter look through putting say 2 or 3 layers on over a couple of days.

  2. 5zigen pro racer exhaust and can filter.Paul seemed to think the filter will be losing me power as it's getting hot, plus it's a muggy day today.

Car is a 06 plate with revup engine.

  3. Just got back from RS Tuning.Good news my ECU dumped and is mappable, apparantley mine has the GEN2 ecu fitted. :yahoo:

Paul put the car on the rollers to see what it was doing,it gave 280bhp at the fly which is down on the official figure Nissan quote. He seems to think that there are gains to be had from mapping,i am going to get the lower plenum from Sunset then have it mapped.Hopefully get to 300bhp,but its a better torque curve i am after.

  4. Really sorry to hear this Steve, but if I had wrote mine off I would not want it back.

At least they did not drag their feet getting an engineer out.If you get half your money back off your mods, you will be back in a Zed in no time.

Pm me your price on the lower plenum you have for sale.

And no I am not a vulture.

  5. As has been said above I had a new shape civic type r and I had to drive it like I was racing everybody.

The Zed is a completly different animal,it will pull in any gear and will tackle motorways effortlessly. It won't punch you in the back as a turbo car will but you don't have to rev the knackers off it either.

  6. Unfortunatley Iain did not have his normal camera with him,he had to use the one on his phone that's why the pics are a bit blurry.

I have used Iain a few times now and can't fault his work.
