There is no such thing as an automatic ban. there are speeds at which it will 'automatically' go to court, but not necessarily a ban. And at the risk of sounding negative, you could still get done for speeding if he had you on video. A few years ago a got caught overtaking an un marked car doing over 90 in a 60. The copper pulled me over, showed me the video and basically agreed I wasn't riding dangerously but told me to slow down and then send me on my way. A few weeks later a get a letter throught the post telling me that they have since reviewed the days footage from that car and they are going to prosecute. Went to court and got 3pts and £350 fine. I thought this took the **** abit especially as the video showed the unmarked car doing 80 before I overtook it. So if they were going to do me they should do him as well. Sorry I realise this has turned into a monday morning rant Any way I hope you don't have the same experience.

There seems to be a lot of people that have gone from a 200sx to a 350z. For me going from a stage 1 S14a to a 350z it felt like a big drop in performance, but I think the z is faster than it feels because the power delivery is so linear. If only it was a few hundred kg lighter and the clutch wasn't so snappy!

Just had a look at the service manual and it looks like there is a 2nd o2 sensor intergrated into the cats. I am guessing the high flow cats don't have a lambda sensor build in?

Just a quick question from a newbe, but why would the engine warning light come on with a decat? Are there any sensors down stream of the cat?

I used to have a 200sx and then 'upgraded' to a 350z and then bought some rays for the 350z. The username may be a little confusing, but indeed I have been a member of the sxoc.com for many years and the wheels are also on sale there. I would prefer cash on collection really as this would keep it nice and simple

The fronts are 225/45/R18 and the rears are 245/45/R18. I have not had them on a 200 myself but there are plenty of people that do and the look nice on a S14

As previously said the orange skidding car light flashes up when the traction control kicks. It can be a little jolty when it kicks in but should stop you from coming to any harm. I have only had my zed for a few weeks and can't believe how well behaved it is. Just got to remember the throttle is not an on/off switch

The front and back wheels are actually the same size. Although they are slightly different in that the back wheels are designed not to fit on the front of the car. The wheels also have front/back stamped on the inside of them. The handling of the car will have been set up to have 245s on the back, so it will no doubt we affected by having 225s instead of 245. Don't believe anything that nissan dealers tell you and take it elsewhere for tyres

I have a set of the standard 18" alloys off a 54 plate car. the wheels are in good condition with a little curbing on the 2 fronts. Loads of tread on the Bridgestone RE040 tyres. 5mm on fronts and 4mm on rears. Looking for £350.

They are not the rays they are the standard 18", but they look really nice on a 200!

I was going to start a similar thread but thought I might get flamed. When I 1st drove a 350z I thought it sounds really nice but just doesn't go at all. After a couple of weeks of ownership its starting to grow on me! Its definatley not as quick in a straight line a my 200sx (263bhp), but it is quicker than it feels and because of the linear torque and great handling I think it is very quick on the twistes. Its just a shame its so heavy!

I know I have only just joined and I will probably get flamed for this. But be very careful doing stuff like this. If they had been seriously injured and or died YOU could be looking at a lengthy prison sentence. The police would deem it as racing on the public highway. It always worrys me that you coud be out for a spirited drive and some loon tries to keep up and stacks it. Anyway. Hi everybody
