Refurb happening soon, but unfortunatly the old man is in hospital so the car is going to see a few miles over the next week or 2...

 

Some of you may also notice there are smudges on the pics... there was a couple of watermarks on the lens... Forgot to clean the lens before I started taking pics.... DOH!

Ian, I re-fitted the grille on mine last week. Phil originally used some sort of silicon to adhere it to the plastic but I used no more nails and 2 screws (1x under the carbon lip and one just under the numberplate.

If you are going to remove the reflectors and replace them with mesh make sure you use big strips as there is a lot of folding required to get them to stick in place.

Oh, just read that its better to use static ie. put your tv to tuner and unplug the aerial.

Try it for an hour, then another and so on till its gone.

Apparently if you leave it on a white screen (maybe you can hook up a pc or something) it reduced the burn effect but also effects the contrast a little too.

where did you manage to source one about?? is it re-mappable with the corret software??
