I’ve been playing with the power and torque curves provided by Nissan. The results are attached. It’s a bit rough and ready, but someone may be interested.
I’m not an engineer, so this will probably be a silly question. The torque curve drops off above 4800 rpm and the power curve drops off above 6300 rpm. The red line is at 6600 rpm. I was wondering if it’s better to shift up at a slightly lower rpm, say 6200, to make use of the higher portion of the torque curve, or to change up at the red line to make better use of the power curve?
