Thought i'd post a couple pics from my boarding trip today. Left Aberdeen at 7.30am in snow, hit the slopes just after 10am, 66 miles in 2 1/2 hours, roads were awful! Had a VERY scary moment in Ballater where I truly believe someone was watching over me, needed pushed 6 times on the Glenshee road and had 5 fellow boarders (note, not a skier in sight) pushing me out the car park!! Still well worth it!!! On a side note, having done that road and the Lecht run in the same week, Aberdeen - Braemar for an Aberdeen run out has my vote over the the Lecht run, despite averaging 17mph all day!!

I did the Aberdeen - Lecht run last Monday to do some snowboarding and I'll be heading to Glenshee Saturday/Monday/Tuesday if anyone wants to convoy?!?!

+1 - my driving instructor told me when you get that low you get some of the nasty stuff from the bottom of the tank going through. Never really believed him but always try to stay clear of the red, wouldn't like the embarrassment of being caught short.

Doesnt have to be for the 14th though does it? I've got tickets to see Russell Brand and a nice boutique hotel in Edinburgh for the weekend after, just going to send the missus an invite but not tell her what its for..... Cheesy!!

It sure is CNR, although i dont know for how much longer...an aberdeen meet would be good when I take delivery of the zed. R Stew's favourite route is up to the Lecht, although with the snow forecast next week I think that might be best avoided!! I was up that way Monday and the gritters had been out, great drive.

Have you been to Ibiza before? I did 3 lads hols back to back 2000-2002 in San An, 8 one year, 9 the next and 16 the last year. Was an absolute hoot at the time but think even at 26 now, I wouldn't go back if it was free. But it does exactly what it says on the tin, party never stops and you'll have a great time!!
