  1. Some sweet cars on the forum for 'firesale' prices too......not a sausage selling. I'd hazard a guess to be competitive you'd be about £9500 (and I bet you were hoping someone would say around the £10500 £11k mark)

£9500 would be sweet but I expecting it to be worth far less than that.

  2. Hello everyone,

Sorry I have not been very active recently, a combination of work and other things have got in the way...

I'm thinking of selling my Zed and buying a Cayman S but I am a bit out of touch with prices at the moment so I thought I'd ask the expertise of this great forum what I should expect to get for it.

My car is a UK 350Z GT Coupe 2004 (54-plate), Azure, Standard 18" Alloys and has 83K on the clock. Its been well loved/cared for and is in very good condition (I'd stop short of excellent because of the chicken pox on the front bumper). It has a full Nissan Service history.

Any indicative prices would be beneficial and gratefully received.

    Thanks

    Andrew

Ah, had I actually ever gone? Now I'm spending lots of time in York, you should check your rear view mirror more often Nicola ;)

    /On topic

Thanks for the suggestions, I'm still none the wiser!

  4. Hi,

Just wondering what the current thoughts are on brakes, specifically pads, as I think I need to replace mine.

About 18,000 miles ago I replaced all four corners of my spent Brembo originals with some EBC Redstuffs but they now need replacing again at the front. I don't want squealers but I would like some reasonable road performance stuff. What are the current recommendations?

    Thanks

    Andrew

PS - I used the search button and got loads of posts about bleeding brakes and one from Nixy saying recommending I upgrade my car with a rich fit bloke in the passenger seat before I spend money on stopping

  5. :kissing::thumbs:

Yep, I'll be having words with Mr Stewart, and being a fellow local too, tsk!

and i was upset only being second!:lol::lol:

I say skip 13 and go straight to 14 like they do with some house numbers.

Well if you are going down the superstitous route, then skip 14 too, bad number in chinese superstition...as is 4.

They don't use 5 in detonation countdowns either, sounds too much like "fire"

/no idea what relevance that has to this thread

  6. For me, its the only thing the TT betters it on.

The Interior is functional and I find the seats very comfortable but its all plastic and it squeaks and creaks a fair bit. It won't put you off, as soon as you press the "Go" pedal you'll forget all about it :D

  7. Lets face it, a 3 year old kid with a meccano set and a tub of playdoh could make a better interior than the one thats in the 350Z so I am not surprised that the interior is an improvement however it still looks very plasticky to me.

That is also a hideous shade of blue, I can't imagine we will see too many of that colour knocking about.

There are quite a few things I like about the car too but its much more fun to pick holes
