but i want a cheap exhaust scorpion one is cheap at £335 but someone said the piping is too small. i can get a dc sports system from funky power for a good price too. i just grudge paying stupid prices for nismo stuff.

+1 i can see what you mean about being different but its not for me , i like the twin exit, its one of best features of the zed no one has fitted a roof rack yet - food for thought now you're just being silly

yes well that is an issue as i said, it could be a good base for a new back box. btw the guy i use does work for drag skylines, and did for colin mccrae (RIP), so he's top notch

well if everyone has a nismo kit, wheels and exhaust it'd be pretty boring i'm not a huge fan of single exits myself but it looks ok, so if i get it cheap i'll be happy.

well, the reason i say is...its on ebay, 2nd hand, and the first bid is £100, so i stuck a reasonable bid in, if i get it cheap, why not, i can always change in the future and get my money back for it if it goes for more than i bid, then i'm not too fussed i could also use the centre section and have some nice boxes made up at my local (and very good and not usual tat) custom exhaust guy. cheapskate scotsman
  6. for the money i suppose it'd be silly not to, reviews seem to be good here anyway

anyone had a kakimoto exhaust on their Z?
  12. and by that i mean the toyo's are over £800, the falkens under £600!
  13. how did you get on? i'm looking at tyres for the 20s i bought, i've had 2 sets of toyo's on previous cars but the prices for the falkens is @*!# hot in the sizes, anyone got any more thoughts on them?
  14. well i went to nissan and had pics taken etc. the service manager took the pics but said he could only see corrosion on the offside rear because it was pissing with rain see what happens but i'm not holding my breath.
  15. post on some vw forums like edition38, theres people there that do them.
  16. "spoon engines", something about them in the first one, didnt have a clue what a spoon engine was back then lol.
  17. sounds like a goer for me then really.
  18. well the rolling road can be open to 350z owners anyway
  19. anyone fancy a wee scottish meet? couldn't see any posts so thought i'd give it a bash. i'm currently organising a rolling road day on my local cruise site http://www.cruise-ayrshire.com/modules/ ... topic=5275 i had one last year at falkland performance and it was a cracking day with 27 cars this one is going to be dashfixer tuning in hillington just along from braehead and its 4wd so i'm hoping for some nice evo's and skylines its going to be in march, specific date is yet to be sorted out. cost will be £30 2wd/£35 4wd. anyone up for it?
  20. so it really just "Plug and play", so to speak? surely the fuel over here throws it out? vortech runs 9psi? have you had any problems with the 5th and 6th piston (been reading some threads on here). does the plenum spacer save your bacon @ 9psi? sounds too good to be true. from what i can gather, a vortech kit, plenum spacer and an exhaust and its good to go?
  21. i had a fascination with superchargers for a while so i'd love one. the vortech kit is £3150 from the uk supplier, which is kinda tempting! so the vortech comes with management...didnt realise that. it'll need some sort of setting up, the vortech kit doesnt really give much info
  22. i do need advice, don't take the hump. the stillen kit is belt driven also. i had a look more in depth to the vortech kit and it looks a bit better thought out than the b series kit. maybe worth looking into further.
