Drop me a PM some time, I hope you get it back and sorted soon, not sure if your aware but Hidsons have only been a Nissan dealer about 12months, their game is Citroen. If its under warranty it may be worth giving Motorline Nissan in tun wells a ring as there a Nissan performance specialist, dealing with GTR`s & Zeds, otherwise I`m sure Mark @ Abbey would be able to assist.

mine did the same with the fan speed, I replaced the controls and it works ok now. Oh really, maybe someone will be nice enough to let me try theirs in Wales, I don`t really want to go and spend out on new controls if thats not where the problem lies, have just spent £400+ on the other car fault finding to discover the problem was a £4.38 Bolt

I'm thinking mine could be a dodgy temp sensor? But where is it? Anyone know?

If not an air leak, possibly a dodgy temp sensor or fuel injector

I have a similar problem, when on auto it will randomly put the fans on really high for a few seconds, then return to normal, ( no temperature change though )

That sounds like it could be an air leak somewhere

It was a great day, although One guy in a green Elise got a bit shirty about a mazda being quicker than him so I made a point to go and have a chat with him to see what times he was doing Other than him everyone else there was cool. Before I do another Car limits day I need to take the car off the road for a while to apply the boost upgrade & standalone ecu that I`ve been wanting to do for a while, also I need more tyres on both cars, so perhaps after Wales

Finally managed to get a couple of videos uploaded

Well not necessarily as it wasn`t really a drift day & I did manage to get the quickest circuit times by a reasonable margin I had hoped to have enough left in the tyres for a track-day but it appears not

Well it was a great day apart from the fact that I did a complete set of rear Tyres right down to literally slicks pictures to follow, & hopefully some videos, although I didn't get a video of my last run with what must have been the biggest off of the day managed to fill the car & cover myself with grass, mud & rubber

A little mazda was quickest by 1mph not sure who it was, some shady looking fella with some fancy glasses on

Tyres can make a big difference in road noise to. Generally directional tyres create more noise

I can see to problems with doing this, Adding Weight to an already heavy car & no-one would ever hear your alarm if it was to go off

Thrust bearing, nearly every zed has it, some louder than others, nothiing to worry about

I got them from big phil @ ESR about 3 years ago, unfotunately he's not trading anymore

Could it be some contamination on the discs causing a difference in friction as the disc rotates? I had similar issues when using ferodo ds2500 pads on-track, the pads transferred onto the disc in places, leaving shadows of the pad outline on the disc causing vibrations. But then if you have had them skimmed this should have solved this. Yellowstuff`s all the way for me
