  1. Chris do you have any other mods in association with the exhaust? As I have the following: High Flow cats Plenum spacer Induction kit and wondering if it will sound any different on top of the esr exhaust no standard apart from a normal induction kit. i was going to get a plenum spacer fitted on the same day but cant decided if i want one or a JWT induction kit... i have got de-cat pipes sitting next to my PS3 but phil told me not to put them on so they'll be up for sale.
  2. just been on the phone to Phil at ESR im going to pick the bungs up after work so ill take some pics with the bungs in and ill put a stationary sound clip on, drive by and overun (off throttle drive by)
  3. yeah no probs mate ill try and make it.
  4. OMG so sorry phill been looking in the wrong section over the past few days and just found it now lol:wacko::wacko: all i can say the exhaust is amazing it sounds like a GT car on full chat.... the amount of people that turn to look at what is driving past is awesome. but if you want you can just rest your foot on the throttle and it doesn't sound silly loud. untill you put your foot down the only thing i would point out is that after lowering my car on eibach springs arox 25mm drop, i did bottom out in a newcastle car park the other night but it was quite a steep angle on the ramp. i've several video clips with sound ill do my best to get them up tonight
  5. that looks fine to me mate. buy the way is that a 5zigen or a buddy cluib? you have there?
  6. Not true, Chris's car is now back in spec without the addition of any other parts. Everything had been loosened to fit the springs so all out of place, get stuff fitted at the right place and the right result is achieved. So the camber is spot on without any parts being fitted....i looked through hundreds of threads when looking at which springs to get and everyone who had eibachs said their camber was out and couldnt be adjusted perfectly without new parts. do i stand corrected? (said the man wearing orthopedic shoes) Yeah the car is now back to a more normal setting with thanks to PHIL from ESR cheers.
  7. cheers Adam , thats clear everything up for me how much are the rear arms SPC and CUSCO?
  8. The adjustment is a bit complicated and needs to be done in tandem on both sides....doing one side will throw the other out....you need a knowledgeable experienced place to do it...can be done yourself if you are really into maintaining your own cars mechanically....but need ramps and alignment tools etc...preferably a 2 man job if done at home!! have you done it before Bobby? does anyone know what the standard settings are, for camber and toe? will the optimum settings have changed since ive got the springs on and alloys...? cheers
  9. yeah thats one of my scares going through tyres ain't going to be cheap when there 275 wide..
  10. Alright all.... mods feel free to move this if you feel its in the wrong place. After fitting some Eibach (pro kit) springs to my Z im a bit worried about the amount of camber im running on the back end now.... its alot more than i thought i was going to have. here is a pic of the car on the srpings ill take a pic of the back end showing the camber. anyone can give me advice....? also is there a way of adjusting the camber if need be? and is it me but from certain angles it looks like its toeing out? cheers chris.

    my new rims

i heard that you had yours painted any chance of some pics? When I get a good sunny day I'll do some of them fitted, but for now... Did you have any issues with wheel nuts? I found that the ones from my Rays were too wide to fit in the Rota holes with the socket on them so Phil had to send some new ones down no probs with the nuts but i did have a a prob with the rear centre caps as you need to put them on the wheels before you put the wheels on. i found this out after snapping the lugs of one first

  17. cheers for all the input i think im going to looking to that nismo zorst Phil does and his rotas. but ill keep it posted and .post pics when it all come together.
  18. i like your thinking sarnie but tein are too hard from what ive heard and eibach (however you spell it) are a good in-between as for the zorst arent i looking at £1k for a Nismo job?
  19. cheers but im into my cleaning products and spend too much on them to start with
  20. Alright all, As some of you already Im in the market for some mods for my JDm (03) base 350. I have a budget in mind u guessed it 2.5k and out of that my priorities are wheels and zorst but i have considered lots of options including coilovers / rear spoiler / bride seat / body kit... Mixing them in all ways to suit my budget. More specifically i think im going down the rota route for alloys (Rota GTR 18" 8.5/9 staggered) Which im looking at £1200 incl tyres. But zorst, i had my eye on a 5Zigen pro racer cat-back I can get for £710 incl del. also priced a very good local custom de-cat back for £750 all in to my spec but now after reading the ECU corrects itself and returning the car back to standard bhp wise if there is any gains. So i dont know if theres any point in getting a de-cat back the only gain is going to be sound. hummmm Coilovers i eventually want to get if i dont get them now but what set? Big phil has offered me a cracking price for some bilsten @ £535 Ive also thought about just springs but people on here are against it? it would give me the look im after but will it compromise the handling?? if i choose a spring with a similar spring rate to the OEM then should this be ok and not effect the handling of the car in regards to the original handling. sorry for the long post.
