  1. I'm after a Vented Carbon Bonnet, PM me if you have one for sale, thanks
  2. If its a fresh import, i'd ask them what the auction grade was..
  3. I can't see them getting anywhere in disputing it. It can't be unreasonable to hand over your keys to someone brandishing a hammer. Having a blackjax installed with invalidate your insurance though, can't remember the exact reason but if you google it theres loads of threads on it..
  4. Similar thing just happend to me... I sold an item 2 weeks ago, posted it straight away, the buyer received it and left me + feedback on ebay The buyer then lost his debit card and so his bank cancelled his card and any transactions from the card for the last week. So paypal took back the money from me and refunded it to his account.. even though I sent it to the "validated" address, sent it recorded delivery and the buyer recieved the item As the dispute was with the bank and not the buyer, paypal did not even contact him Anyway luckily for me the guy is honest and has refunded me the money. Shows what a joke seller protection is.
  5. Any modifications should be declared, upgrading to 19" wheels may make your car more desirable to thieves/joy riders (etc) and hence more of a risk
  6. Is there a difference? I thought someone said they were exactly the same?
  7. Will go back to PM'ing him, IF i mange to get some sort of resolution or if Martin decides to meet me half way on the difference i will post here.
  8. Martin thanks for replying to clear up a few things This is called haggling, your lip reached £40 on ebay, I asked how much you were after and you said £230, I then offered £220 and subsequently £225, thats hardly pestering? And yes as you took so long to ship out the lip, I had at that point bought a MY06 car instead, so the lip would have been no good to me. As it still had not been shipped out to me, I offered for you to keep £20 and refund the rest of my money as a goodwill gesture, as otherwise i would just have to resell the lip myself. Ask youself this, why would I put myself in a position where i'm currently £225 out of pocket, have a broken lip which is worth peanuts and then have an uphill struggle to get any sort of refund from the seller? Surely thats a million more times more hassle than re-selling it on this forum? As i've explained to you numerous times your not loosing £225 just the difference between £225 and the claim, plus when you get the lip back you can recoup some of your losses At the end of the day if it was fully insured we wouldn't be having this conversation I think thats a valid point, you can only tell how honest someone is when something goes wrong, Its easy for someone to be labelled a good seller but you only see how good they really are when the sh*t hits the fan. I've been in this position myself and at the end of the day i just had to bite the bullet and send some of my own cash
  9. Thanks for the replies.. I agree its not the senders fault that it was damaged, I'm just annoyed with his attitude and lack of responsibility. If it was me I would have at least been apologetic
  10. Unfortunately by cheque otherwise I would have done a paypal reversal ages ago
  11. I don't like to air my dirty laundry in public but since I seem to be getting nowhere with another forum member, i'm hoping some of his friends on here can make him see some sense before I need to take him to the small claims court. I bought a front lip for £225, it arrived damaged (snapped in half) and his insurance will only cover £130. So apparently its tough luck for me and I should have to take the £95 loss. He claims that since it was signed for as undamaged it's my fault. I will point out that it was sent to my place of work and it was signed for by reception who clearly had no idea what they were signing for. Also my name was not even on the packaging slip (just the company name), so I had no chance of even inspecting the parcel. However even if i had chance to refuse the item, he would still have been unable to refund me the full amount as he did not insure adequately. I'm hoping that eventually he will see some sense and refund me the full amount (i will then resend him the lip at my own expense so that he can try and recoup some of his loss) or otherwise I will have no chance but to take him to the small claims court which may prove costly for himself. Having been on the reverse of this situation recently with a fellow forum member I had to pay £60 out of my own pocket when my insurance did not cover the full value of an item. Thanks for your time and rant over Link to the item http://www.350z-uk.com/forum/viewtopic.php?t=14559 Photo's
  12. Plus the guy selling claimed to have no clue what the jap auction grade was even though he had imported it himself.. Dodgy to say the least..
  13. Thanks, thats the answer I was looking for... it's Ebisu
  14. Whats the difference between these two colours? Has anyone got a photo of each to see the difference? Just curious if my late model MY06 (07reg) is Kuro or Ebisu

  17. Sure Admiral are cheap when it comes to add mods but for me they were really expensive for a standard uk car (£600 standard, £650 with mods) while Esure was £380 standard + £150 for the same mods.. swings and roundabouts..

    Keys

How many keys should come with a 07 REG (300) model? I've been given 2, 1 fob and 1 master... The reason I ask is that my 53 reg came with 2 fobs and no master and my 05 (import) came with 2 fobs and no master.. But when I collected the car I queried this and the dealership rang the nissan garage next door and they told him its 2 keys as standard...?? But now im thinking they meant 2 fobs..
  22. This bonnet was a perfect fitment when it was on my car.. I only plugged in the rubber bits from the old bonnet where there were already exisiting holes (if that makes any sense)
  23. Sold the RX-8 last night privately for £8k, so this is looking like a sweet deal... Z now getting picked up on Saturday.. whoop whoop..
