  1. Time of year I suppose ...Zed is under wraps in the garage , bolted as much stuff on it as I can / can afford :teeth: ... nothing doing at work this time of year.. too poor to go to the Bahamas for 3 months until it picks up...any suggestions ???

I hate Christmas with a vengeance.. Bahhh humbug,,,, even the snow in Switzerland hasn't appeared this year according to the press !!! going to be inundated with Romanian refugees shortly when they join the EU next year.. Fed up !! any one got any good news out there?? PLEASE

I've just found my first grey pube so:

    A. I'm bored too

    and

    B. Could do with some good news too.

  2. Further to my last post, I went to inspect the re-respray job this morning only to be confronted with a bonnet covered in missed bits and chips that weren't there before.

Needless to say, no money changed hands and the manager has assured me that the job will be done again to my satisfaction.

The kn0bheads either didn't do it properly or else they did and have been riding round town and added some stone chips, either way they ain't getting paid til it's right.

To further compound my chagrin, the rear axle is clicking like a Flamenco dancer on acid, the CD skips when it's cold and I've found my first grey pube!

  3. ahh olivers mount jamie whitam on a 600 suzuki t.pot made all the big uns look silly :teeth: hi sarge might bring mine up there one day though with its attraction for trees probably not such a good plan.still in the words of gilbert( ya can always dream)

Welcome back old chap. it's nice and quiet up the old Mount at the moment. live that dream! :D

  4. Hi Sarge! Welcome to the forum.

I like Scarborough! Fond memories of thrashing my old Mini round Olivers mount (Its a bike track! Stop sniggering at the back!) much to the disgust of the Ex and the campers!:teeth:

:D:thumbs: Hello old chap, been round Olivers Mount recently, nice and quiet at the moment and good for a quick thrash as you rightly say.

    :D

  5. Had the massage and fell asleep during it

Thanks for all the welcomes, hope I can be of some assistance in the future, be it head massage recommendations or computer geekery! I don't feel old at 40 especially bombing around in the Zed! Midlife crisis??!

    40 and retired!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! :yahoo:

Sadly only retired from the RAF, pension not enough to keep me in beer and tabs.

  6. According to their pamphlet named 'NISSAN-HISTORY IN THE MAKING' (in the welcome pack received with my Zed), they fire diamonds from point blank range from a compressed air gun at over 100mph at the paint. They further claim that '...If it isn't tough enough to resist, it isn't used.'

I suggest they should have fired some hearts, clubs and spades at it and the jokers too for good measure.

I can't believe the gall of these tw@'s. I love my Zed but the paintwork couldn't resist marsh mallows.

  7. I've been perusing the forum for a while now and decided to say hello and thanks for all the good advice. Only had my blade silver Zed coupe for a few weeks now and am still in the honeymoon period. I'm planning to keep it looking as Nissan intended but I have replaced the aerial with a Honda stubby and shall be getting a Paintshield full frontal when I've had the bonnet resprayed.

    Thanks again. :teeth:

  8. Greetings from Scarborough, I've been reading through the forum for a while now and picked up some very useful tips/advice :) Thanks!

Further to the bad respray job on my front end, I've been quoted £160 + VAT to have the bonnet resprayed and the wings blended, here in Scarborough. I shall then be covering it until I can return to Paintshield to have the full frontal undertaken (OOOH Matron!).

Thankyou Tom and Ann for being so accommodating, looking forward to seeing you again very soon.
