  3. Thanks Nick. I would also like to confirm that both the Sgt and his Zed are in good order as well :teeth:

Steady on Charlie, we'll be going to choose a ring next. ;) Was good to meet you buddy and thanks again for setting me up with a decent ICE specialist.

  4. Met Charlie today in Shrewsbury, can confirm that this car is in beautiful condition and has been very well looked after. If I didn't already have mine I would be buying it!

    Hi Charlie btw.

  5. I don't use calenders but my dad always get 'glamour' calenders made up for his company for the boys offshore.

I would get hollyoaks calender as there are no 'ugly' ones. The 'ugly' girls aloud bird is looking ok now though.

I quite agree about the 'ugly' one in Girls Aloud, she's turned into quite a fox!

    No, she's ginger

    Racist

Ginger is not a race, its an affliction :scare:

When are you going on holiday again? ;)

  6. OK, fitted one of Spill's (cheers Spill)grounding Kit today, great response, smoother and improve throttle response, fairly easy to install (50 mins). Good call.

JWT Pop Charger is next. :yahoo:

I bought one of Pete's kits yesterday, it arrived today and 45 minutes later it was fitted. :kicking

Instructions a piece of p1ss to follow even for an idiot like me. Easy to read and with colour pictures. :D

I only lost one 10mm bolt, never to be seen again! Thanks for the spares (I hope they were spares??!!)

I started 'The Sarge' and immediately he felt smoother(better tickover). from 1st to 2nd I noticed an improvement also, although subtle the car just feels less clunky(hope that makes sense). I wasn't sure if it was just an idiosyncracy of the 'Z' that it was a little 'rough' on start up and pulling away at junctions, roundabouts etc, especially after having a 5 series BMW.

Thanks for the prompt response Pete, comprehensive instructions and quality cabling.

Overall a worthwhile addition, would recommend to anyone.

  7. In my experience it's always been a good idea to get stuff in writing. I always ring after having e-mailed so there's a record of what's been said, promised, with times and dates etc..

    I'm not paranoid..............but everyone thinks I am.

Welcome to my world at work :D

Glad it's not only me old boy. You gotta watch yer back bud!!

  8. Just wanted to pass on my experiences, so that other owners can make use of an excellent dealer - Westover in Bournemouth.

First visit after purchasing my Z (from a different dealer), was about the left speakers not working with the CD player. New Bose unit was ordered and replaced old one a week later.

Whilst there, mentioned that my leather gear stick was rather worn for its age. Dealer agreed and replaced with brand new part (apparently rather pricey).

Then asked about having to press the boot release several times to open and the boot lid then not staying up. New hydraulic arms ordered a few days later and being fitted today (again apparently rather pricey!).

All the above covered by warranty no quibbles.

Also, courtesy cars are always available. Today they gave me the keys to a brand new X-Trail 4x4! Great car - obviously very different drive to what we're used to but am very impressed with the performance from the 2.2 diesel, considering the size of the thing. Also had the birdview sat-nav fitted which IMO is excellent. Might have to take the offroad route back to the dealer tonight!!

Anyway, staff are always very helpful and couteous. So in summary, a big  to Westover Bournemouth!

You are lucky! Good for you Charlie.

I've got a courtesy diesel Micra sat outside at the moment. Got sod all last time and they didn't fix the clicking noise properly hence the 2nd visit.

    I may move to Bournemouth!!

    Nick
