Hi All, I am a month into my Z and loving it to bits I just shod her with some flash winter rubber yesterday in the form of Pirelli Sottorosso W240 winter tyres I put them straight onto the RAYS 18's and kept the new tyres in the same dimensions 225/245. I immediately did a few burn outs in a car park of course to try and remove some of the mould plastic a bit quicker (honestly officer I was doing donuts to make my tyres safer ) then I went for yet another pointless no real reason drive, just because I can I need some nice new fresh powder snow to try them out in now please!! I have a boot mounted MG Ski rack and I reckon it will fit on the Z too. Do people mount boot racks on the Z roadster ? I guess I am asking does anyone think I will rip the boot off if I charge around with a ski rack on or do lots of people mount a rack on the boot !!??

Lovin my Z My MG was fun don't get me wrong , but the Z is much much ruder and much more smile inducing... I am a HCHDC fanatic (Hard Core Hood Down Crew ) and I never ride with my hood up unless it is actually p*ssing it down. The amount of stares and comments I get about the Z is unreal. Not seen another roadster yet in Luzern (where I live) but pulled up next to a black coupe today and we burn each other off the lights. I must remember to flick the traction control off next time The Bose sound is just sweeeet and I have just uploaded some 300 CD's (ie all of my lifetime collection) onto my new PC and made 10 various albums although I seem to only listen to tunes when sat in traffic, the engine is soooo sweet the rest of the time as I am sure you are all aware... I just put snow tyres on as well today Pirelli Sottorosso W240 winter shoes Mmmmmmm niiiiice same dimensions as the summer ones, 245 225 and I put them straight onto my RAYS 18's. This is I reckon, as good as a Z gets...a nismo then anyone ?? I have just worked my way through at least 40 350z clips on YTube since deciding on on Z (2 days ago)...i lUUUUUrve my stock exhaust however I think it is not the best on offer: The Swiss are not good when it comes to allowing mods so I am not sure I can do anything legally but a full already approved (TUV) mod. I am hoping nismo mods meet this criterion...?? novidem are a swiss company and their mods are fully swiss legal... looks like I need to get my head down and work a bit harder/more profitably, so I can splash the SIXTEEN THOUSAND SWISS FRANCS asked for for the 380 pony supercharger mayhem switch....they also do a 450 donkey conversion for the Z... :wacko: If anyone has this conversion and can record it revving at stand still and also a ragged drive by and post it on You tube.... Love this song...

Cheers! Plenum looks good then. Also saw rumblings about a cosworth one giving 16bhp??!! Spoke to Novidem last week as well and he told me 16000 swiss franc for the 380 pony supercharger...ouch.... I guess that leaves a turbo then for 5000bucks or so!!

Hi All, having been working my way through the FAQ etc the last few eves I think it seems that a Popcharger, a Kinetix V+ plenum, Hi flow cats and a nismo cat back exhaust system are the 1st mods one should look at making to get a few more horses? If the makers claims are correct the PC should give +6.5 the kinetix PL & cats +20 and prob another 8 for the exhaust system? So would that seem a realistic target, 35 more horses from those mods? 315 would be such a good number.... Cheers, Sutski

Hi All, I pick up my 2005 Z roadster on Tuesday. Traded in my 2003 MG TF160 so am very much looking forward to some V6 power!! She is black on black with only 15,000kms on the clock. I shall be looking at putting a few extras onto her, so any newbie tips and must do mods will be most appreciated!! Personally, I live in Luzern in Switzerland and work in International sales.
