  1. Hi guys,

Well i'm finally back in a 350z after a few years in an RX7 then NSX then RX7 again  Started reading up a little about re-mapping the Z, being an NA engine i'm wondering is it worth the money to do so? All replies welcome!!

    Dave.

  2. I've got a low kms black one, she's a 6 speed manual, SVA tested but not yet registered, can do her for £10750.....any good to you?

    Dave. 07810 098199.

ps..she's an '04' plate with big wheels & Brembos

  3. Hi Dave,

I've sent you two PM's, mainly ignore the first as i was a little unsure of your question. I'll make a few calls this morning and see what comes of them. I've actually completely stopped selling 350's now.........i love them myself but they are a nightmare to sell!! All the last two examples attracted were punters who believed they had the right to own them but nota pot to p155 in ie.....they couldn't get a loan.........reminded me of the seriously annoying guy on the picture finance advert :yuck:

Give me a call this afternoon/evening on 07810 098199 and i'll do my best!!

    Dave.

  4. Yet another scam!! I just had an email back on a TT Supra and suprise suprise he's "just moved away" and will send me the car after i pay him by Western Union...........FFS!!!!!

Seems too good to be true??? Then it probably is!!!

  5. Many thanks lads, it is really appreciated. It's so strange when someone is there for your entire life and then suddenly gone, i was very blessed having such a good dad and owe everything to him as he always encouraged me as i progressed through my business from a greengrocer (a long time ago and i still had hair) through to my Jap Import biz.

Thanks again and will see you all again soon,

    Dave.

  6. ps......people still have the option to bid an extra £50 or £100 before Sunday afternoon as from then on it'll be gone then.

    Don't quite follow

When you make a deal you shouldn't try and badger for more elsewhere.... That said it is 2 a stealer!!!!

Standard practice in the trade Liam , get it underwritten in the trade, and if you can get more for it , it will be sold elsewhere,,

Thanks Liam, nice to see someone else with a bit of sense!! With 'trade' offers they are basically bids you are prepared to pay......some deals come off and some don't. You are entering a 'closed bid' type auction, a bit like the house purchase senario in Scotland......you makes your bid and you takes your chance.

If i sell to a private customer then it's a different matter........the FQ330 i mentioned earlier was sold to a local lad for just under £14k, i took his deposit on a Friday evening and the lad didn't sleep all weekend as he was worried i'd get bid a lot more as the car was worth around £17k with it's upgraded leather/big wheels & brakes plus a massive music system. I got bid an extra £500 for the car from another dealer who had placed the car elsewhere for £16500...........did i sell???? Absolutely not so if you are having a go Liam it's a tad unfair and mis-guided.

The car is now sold and about to be collected this morning as my dad lost his battle with cancer yesterday evening so i am having a little time off to be with my family, if anyone else was interested then please acceptmy appologies.

    Dave.

  7. UNDER OFFER!!!!!!! Trade offer of £12200 on her.........any advances?? You have until Sunday evening :boxing:

    Dave.

Bloody hell that was quick :scare:

Hi Sarnie, i don't hang around!! That's a cheap car mind you :teeth: I had an Evo FQ330 in a few months ago, put it on Autotrader and it sold in approx 17 minutes.........now that was quick :yahoo:

    Dave.

ps......people still have the option to bid an extra £50 or £100 before Sunday afternoon as from then on it'll be gone then.

    Dave.

YES, IT IS ALREADY IN THE UK HENCE TAX & MOT, NAV IS UK TYPE :teeth:

  9. Come on guys, this is a little on the chav side i agree as the 350's lines should only be broken by Nismo curves but why the public hanging??

This site is probably the most polite car site on the net with no bitching and general nasty comments especially towards newbies and the odd, silly questions we all ask from time to time.

What one person loves....another may hate but who really cares! As for the mad rear spoiler, i've grown to like them as i've had dozens of Supras from Japan already fitted with them.........but they should come with a warning sticker "beware the rear tailgate stickers" fitted to them as i've had a few near death experiences when the boot lands on my head due to the insane weight of the b@stards!! :headhurt:

    Dave.

  10. Dave - Was it just budget FEDERAL tyres you had on the Scooby or was UHP ones? They do a number of budget tyres in a range of sizes.

Hi Rob, i can't remember to be honest. I'm not ruling them out but respectfully giving my personal opinion for the set i bought and fitted. I'll have a look through my receipts and let you know which type they were.

We have fitted several sets of the budget tyre Nangkang (think that's how to spell it) and found these to be pretty good value and they seem to hold the road pretty well.

    Dave.

  11. If you enjoy sideways action / drifting then you'll be fine!! We fitted a set of these economy tyres to an Impreza we took in as a part-ex as they were cheap........ the punter soon changed them :headhurt:

Very cheap but very poor ride / drive quality but much better than running on low tread / worn tyres.

    Dave.

  12. There's a local guy who has a convertable 6 series, looks fantastic!!! Although i love the 350z you cannot compare the comfort/power/luxury of many of Beemers........pity they cost so much more :headhurt: Then again it could just be me getting to be an old git :surrender:

    Dave.
